African Extracts Range Review

What’s Up my Beautiful 20 Somethings 💕

Wow it’s been a hot minute since I was in these blog streets. My life has been a bit on the crazy side, I’m currently juggling four jobs and trying to keep this little blog afloat. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and YouTube for regular updates if you’re feeling a bit neglected on here! 😁

Today reviewing a range I was gifted by African Extract. I was sent the following products: three items from their Classic Care Range: the Shea Butter Body Moisturizer, the Moisturizing Day Cream and their Multi-Purpose Tissue Oil. As well as their Facial Oil from their Advantage range, which I’ve reviewed in the past, click here to read my review.

I love African Extracts because their products are infused with bio-active Rooibos that contains high levels of antioxidants. Their brand is cruelty free and their products are supported by 35 natural plant ingredients. And they’re based in Cape Town where all of their products are produced locally!

I’ve been using the Shea Butter Body Moisturizer and the Moisturizing Day Cream everyday and my skin felt amazing from the first use. It leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth without leaving it looking or feeling oily. Their products are gentle on my skin and I honestly can’t stop touching myself. The texture of the body butter is a bit thick and takes a while to massage into my skin but the Day Cream rubs into my skin instantly. These are two great products for people who suffer from dry skin.

The Tissue Oil is a game changer for me, it can be used anywhere on your body; your face, your body and even your hair.

It main aim to revitalize your skin, reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks, as well as alleviate uneven skin tone. I’ve been using it on some scars from ingrown hairs (due to waxing) and it’s honestly made a huge difference. I apply it to all my flabbier bits too to prevent and reduce the appearance of stretch marks. It even helped repair a scar on my face that I got from a burn- leaving the mark looking less aggressive on my chin. 🙈

I haven’t really tried it on my hair yet but it can be used for: Dry scalp and lifeless hair, as well as, Braids and dreadlocks.

I loved this range so much that I’ve even gone out and bought some of their other products. If you’re looking for an affordable addition to your skincare routine and you wanna support a local business, this is the brand for you.

Until next time,

Nadine x
